Fansly Management Session Setup

Set up a secure management session for FBuddy integration

What is a Management Session?

Management Sessions are Fansly's official way to allow trusted third-party applications like FBuddy to access your account data without sharing your login credentials.

As Fansly describes it: "Management Sessions allow you to share a link with someone you trust to allow them to log into your account without sharing your login information."

Privacy & Security: FBuddy works with the minimum permissions needed. Most features are read‑only. The Auto Messages feature is optional and requires the “Send Messages” permission in your Management Session. You stay in control and can disable it anytime.

Navigate to Fansly Management

Go to the Fansly Management page to create a new session.

Create New Session

  1. Click the "Create Session" button
  2. Enter a label for the session (e.g., "FBuddy")
  3. You'll be prompted to enter your 2FA code

Note: Keep your 2FA code private. Never share it with anyone, including FBuddy support.

Configure Permissions

Recommended defaults

For maximum security, start with all permissions OFF. Enable specific permissions only when using features that require them.

Using Auto Messages? If you want FBuddy to send automatic DMs on your behalf, you must enable the "Send Messages" permission for the Management Session. Leave other permissions OFF unless you enable features that require them. You can disable "Send Messages" at any time if you stop using Auto Messages.

Security Note: The following actions are permanently blocked for all management sessions: viewing/creating management sessions, payout methods, account sessions, and account deletion.

Create and Copy Session Link

  1. Click "Save Changes" to create the session
  2. Find your newly created session in the list
  3. Click "Copy Link" next to the session
  4. Save this link securely - you'll need it to connect FBuddy

Important: The link can only be used once. Keep it secure and don't share it with anyone else.

Connect to FBuddy

Now you can use this management session link to connect your Fansly account to FBuddy.

Return to FBuddy and paste the management session link when prompted.

Security Notes

  • All permissions OFF = read‑only access
  • Never share 2FA codes with anyone
  • Session links are single-use only
  • Delete sessions when no longer needed
  • FBuddy only modifies your account if you enable a feature that needs it (e.g., Auto Messages)
